AN exciting inaugural festival
The Naples Literary Festival is a celebration of books, authors, and the joy of reading — coming to Naples, Florida Friday, February 5 through Sunday, February 7, 2027. Presented by Books on Third, this inaugural festival brings together beloved and emerging authors for a three days of readings, talks, panel discussions, and intimate conversations with readers of all ages.
At the heart of the festival is our Main Tent, located just steps from the bookstore on Sunday February 7, 2027, where you'll find book sales, author signings, and a main stage packed with programming. Additional offsite venues host keynote speakers and special events in a theatre-style setting on Friday and Saturday leading up to the main festival event.
Whether you're a lifelong reader or just discovering your next favorite book, the Naples Literary Festival is an event not to be missed.

We are currently working with authors, publishers and their teams to arrange authors for the festival. Check our authors page to see who we have currently confirmed for the festival and check back for updates as we get closer!

Our Sunday outdoor festival will be free to the public and will include book sales, signings, meet & greets and main stage programming for adults and children. Keynote speaking engagements, in-conversation events, presentations, book clubs and other special event programming will be available for a fee during the festival. A limited number of festival passes will be available and will include access to multiple festival events. Details will be announced closer to the festival!

Plan for evening events on Friday and Saturday at the bookstore or at a nearby offsite location. We are planning in-converation events and a festival keynote for both adults and children. We are also thrilled to offer ancillary programming such as special book club events connected to the festival on these days.

What are the plans for Sunday, February 7?
On our main festival day, the festival will take place outdoors and feature free literary events from mid-morning through late afternoon. Select paid events such as feature book club discussions will be available and the festival will conclude on Sunday evening with a closing keynote presentation.

The main outdoor festival on Sunday, February 7 will take place just steps from Books on Third under the main festival tent. Other venues around downtown Naples will feature author keynotes and in-conversation events and some festival events will take place right inside Books on Third.
